・In 2019, China’s copper industry still maintains a stable operation, and China will still be the leading force in the development of the world’s copper industry.
・From January to October 2019, China’s cumulative import of scrap copper was 1.322 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 32.01%,
in order to achieve China’s goal of basically achieving zero solid waste imports by the end of 2020.
・Due to the end of the new life cycle of electronic waste, scrapped cars and other products,
the “urban mine” industry will usher in “blowout” development.
It is expected that the scrap volume in 2025 will reach 10 million tons / year,
among which the electronic products entering the market in the early stage, the scrap metal content of copper will reach 30%.
By 2030, the potential amount of copper scrap is expected to reach 30 million tons.
