You can recycle that large stack of magazines, but not an old refrigerator or television. While such bulky items make up more than 80 percent (by weight) of all e-waste generated in Singapore, there are currently no programmes for recycling large household appliances, the National Environment Agency (NEA) told The Straits Times. E-waste sector still new and poorly structured, but things could change with new legislation.
